 The mission of DLM Marine Corp is to teach at-risk youth about marine recreation and safety through education, training and experience. Our Marine Education Outreach Program balances classroom teaching with fun, hands-on instruction directly in the marine environment, helping participants to develop

· Meet end user needs.   We must continue to understand the needs of the organization’s        participants, and to provide them with the resources and programs to meet those        needs.

· Brand.      We must let the states of California, and ultimately the entire US know about the        work we do to help improve the lives of participants and community members.

· Fundraising.     We must have a well-operated fundraising strategy to meet the        organization's financial needs as all funds come from grants and contributions.

· Effective collaboration with other community professionals.    We must strive to create        and maintain relationships with governmental organizations, groups of interests, and        other organizations that support at-risk youth..interests, skills and self-esteem.
