DLM Marine Corp is a nonprofit corporation in San Diego, CA incorporated in February 2014. The mission of the organization is to teach at-risk youth about marine recreation and safety through education, training and experience. Our Marine Education Outreach Program balances classroom teaching with fun, hands-on instruction directly in the marine environment, helping participants to develop interests, skills and self-esteem.

DLM is led by the President of the organization, Deaborah Wells, and the Board of Directors. The Directors of the organization encompass the vision, goals and commitment of the company. It is our responsibility to maintain high standards of performance in managing the organization and providing the highest quality of services to support our participants.

The organization will pursue its goals through one main program: The Marine Education Outreach Program. Through this program, the organization will provide underprivileged youth with unique opportunities to explore new environments and skills while learning more about themselves and their own capabilities.

As a nonprofit organization, DLM will rely on employees and volunteers who are devoted to their work. Our employees and volunteers will be competent, caring, and well-trained individuals, who understand the needs of the organization and its participants.

DLM is considered to be a part of the civic, social and youth organization industry, funded primarily through corporate partnerships, private donations, government grants and membership fees.
